The absolute Truths of the Christian faith have been taught by the Church for two thousand years. They are not based on human wisdom and do not depend on changing human knowledge. And yet they always have to be proclaimed in a language which is comprehensible to the thinking of the time. Thus theological interpretations relevant at specific times keep being reassessed. The contemporary spirit is shaped by scientific knowledge. However, truly progressive scientific thinking preserves and confirms the traditional truth.

Setting out from the Revelation to John, the Apocalypse, a renowned scientist shows that it is precisely the new thinking in science which reveals a vision of the truths of Christian faith and the teaching of the Church of unexpected richness. New interpretations of the old teaching are suggested. New interpretations have always been necessary and have always brought grave crises, from Thomas Aquinas, Giordano Bruno, Galileo Galilei, Friedrich Wöhler and others, up to this day. In this book, the renowned physicist, author and – since 1972 – also priest, Bernhard Philberth, talks about his life. He gives a candid account of his mystical experiences, his discoveries and inventions, his extraordinary path to the priesthood, his family, his public engagements and much more.

The book also contains some contributions by his brother, Prof. Dr. Karl Philberth, about Bernhard himself and his concepts in physics. There is also a chapter on the PH Foundation, which he established for the education of poor Philippine students and financed together with his brother Karl. The book also features a few brief testimonies by Philberth scholars.

Bernhard Philberth’s experiences and thoughts, written down by Waltraud Uhlenbruch, reveal how a man of genius and deep faith allows himself to be inspired and guided by God throughout his life.

This very soundly based book has challenged and shocked public opinion. Its logic and the boundless amazement about the prophecies of the Bible, which could not be verified until now, capture the reader's attention. Philberth, being an expert in his field, was destined to handle with great competence the challenge of this book from a literary point of view.

Confronts point by point the facts of nuclear research and military technology with the prophecies of Christ and St. John. Philberth is the first to succeed in partly deciphering the Apocalypse.
